Company / Why LexVio

Built for the law
that actually applies here.

Four arguments for choosing LexVio, and a link under every one of them. If a sentence on this page is not backed by a page you can open and check, it should not be here — tell us and we will remove it.

01 / Verifiability

Every answer carries something you can check

An unsourced legal answer is worth very little, because the cost of being wrong lands on you and not on the model. Clause verdicts come with a plain-English explanation, a confidence score, and a reference to the governing law where one applies — the analysis is grounded in the law the contract names, not in a model's general recollection.

Every citation comes back with a verdict rather than a link — verified, ambiguous or unresolved — and a document matching by title alone caps at ambiguous, because a document by that name existing is not that document saying what was claimed. We are equally explicit about the limits: LexVio holds no case-law or statute corpus for the jurisdictions it serves, so a citation it cannot check is labelled unresolved and you are pointed at the official source, not at a near-match.

02 / Control

Your documents stay yours, and stay here

Confidential drafts are the whole input. So there is a stated storage region with encrypted backups, storage is AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2 or later in transit, LexVio trains no model on your content, and documents you classify as identity documents never reach an AI vendor at all.

Your administrators set access policies — an IP allowlist, allowed platforms and a maximum session age — checked on every request, and every change lands in an append-only audit trail. For organisations that cannot use SaaS at all, a self-hosted deployment is scoped per engagement; in air-gapped mode the code sends no telemetry and reaches no external model vendor. Text you paste is sanitised before it reaches the model, though we make no absolute claim about injection resistance, because nobody honestly can.

03 / Cost

AI spend you can see and cap

Usage-based AI turns into an unbounded bill unless something bounds it. Every organisation has a platform daily spend ceiling and a monthly token allowance, its administrators can set a lower daily cap of their own, lower the model tier and switch individual AI features off, and every request is capped at 200K input and 8K output tokens.

The cost of each request is logged with its request type, user, model and token counts — never its content — and an administrator can export that history to CSV for chargeback. Stable prompt prefixes are cached so repeated work costs less — and the saving is passed through rather than pocketed.

04 / Public utility

The useful half is free, with no email gate

The contract scanner is open to anyone — no signup, no email capture, no trial clock. Paste a contract or upload a PDF and it runs the same analysis pipeline the paid product runs, rate-limited rather than cut down.

Public scans are processed in memory and are not stored against any account. This is not a lead magnet with the good parts removed; it is the part of the product that costs us little and answers most of what a first-time visitor actually wants to know.

And what we are not claiming

The honest column.

LexVio is not a substitute for a lawyer. It accelerates legal work; on M&A, litigation and regulatory investigations you need qualified counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.

More on what the AI will not do →

SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are on our roadmap rather than certified today. The current status is published rather than implied.

Certification status →

Every capability is labelled live, beta or soon. If it does not say live, we are still building it — and the inventory says so on the page, not in a footnote.

Full feature inventory →

A citation we cannot check comes back unresolved, and a document matched only by its title comes back ambiguous. We would rather show a hole than fill it with something plausible.

You will not find a comparison table or a benchmark score on this page. We have not published a methodology for either, and a number without a methodology is decoration. Judge the product by opening the pages linked above.
