What it is.

Uploaded documents, data exports and database backups are stored in AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai, India). Document, prompt and meeting-audio content is also transmitted to the AI sub-processors listed in the DPA — located in the United States — to perform the analysis you request. There is no per-organisation region routing on the hosted service.

India holds no EU or UK adequacy decision, so transfers from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are made under the safeguards the DPA sets out. If your sector or jurisdiction requires data to stay on your own infrastructure, the self-hosted deployment runs where you choose and an air-gapped install disables every external model vendor.
