AI redlining
LiveProduce a redlined Word document ready to send to counterparties.
- ✓Native Word tracked changes (w:ins / w:del with author and date) when the source is a .docx
- ✓Struck-through / green styled output when the source was a PDF or scan
- ✓Accept and reject decisions recorded per suggestion, and rolled up in Nexus
- ✓Clause-level comparison of any two contract versions when a revised draft comes back
What it is.
Work through a redline session, accept the suggestions you want, and export a .docx. When the contract was uploaded as a Word file, the export writes real Word revisions — w:ins and w:del markup with an author and a date — so it opens in Word's own tracked-changes review pane.
When the source was a PDF or a scan there is no original Word document to mark up, so the export renders the same changes as styled text instead: deletions struck through, insertions in green. Same content, different mechanism, and worth knowing which one you will get before you send it out.
Three steps.
End to end.
Review the session's suggestions and accept the ones you want applied.
Vio writes the accepted changes into a .docx — Word revisions from a .docx source, styled text from a PDF or scan source.
Share via a vault link or download. When a revised version comes back, run a clause-level comparison against the version you sent.

- ✓Rounds by instruction — "make the indemnity mutual" adds a round of suggestions on just that, appended to the session
- ✓Edit a pending suggestion; the model's original wording is kept beside yours
- ✓An escalated suggestion — outside your approved range or high exposure — needs an explicit confirmation to accept
- ✓Suggestions show your playbook position where one exists, and comment threads per suggestion
Quick answers.
From a .docx source the redline is written into the original document's XML, so the surrounding formatting is the document's own. From a PDF or scan there is no original Word file, so the export is a newly generated document and the counterparty's layout is not reproduced.
No. A redline session runs against one contract. Bulk upload analyses many contracts at once, but it does not generate redlines.

AI-generated replacement language for every flagged clause.
Your firm's own templates, versioned — and AI-generated drafts grounded in your house style, your precedents and the governing law, with a verifier checklist.
Say what you need; LexVio turns it into a drafting brief, asks for what is missing, and drafts only when the brief is complete.
Tell the editor what to change; it proposes edits against the exact text, you accept or reject, and a snapshot becomes a new version.
