Vio — Draft & redline
LiveGenerate replacement language and export a redlined Word file.
- ✓Per-clause suggestions with original text, suggested text, rationale, and severity
- ✓Three-variant fan-out on one contract — conservative, balanced, aggressive
- ✓Negotiation-stance presets and a session goal that steer how hard the draft pushes
- ✓Fallback positions drawn from your fallback-clause library are fed into the draft
What it is.
Vio can rewrite a clause for you, argue a harder position, or produce a redlined Word document ready to send. Drafts are grounded in the governing law the contract resolves to — its applicable-law context is supplied to the model with the request — and where no governing law can be decided, in jurisdiction-neutral commercial drafting.
A redline session runs over a whole contract and produces per-clause suggestions with a rationale and a severity. You can also fan a contract out into three variants at once — conservative, balanced, and aggressive — and compare the positions side by side before you pick one.
Three steps.
End to end.
Point Vio at a contract. It produces per-clause suggestions — original text, suggested text, rationale, severity.
Pick a negotiation stance and a goal for the session, or generate all three variants (conservative / balanced / aggressive) and compare.
Download a .docx redline, or apply the accepted suggestions to the working version inside LexVio.
What you get.
- ✓Reference to the governing law where applicable — check any statute it names at the official source
- ✓Word export with native tracked changes when the original upload was a .docx
Quick answers.
When the contract was uploaded as a .docx, yes — the export writes real w:ins / w:del markup with author and date, so it opens in Word's own tracked-changes UI. When the source was a PDF or a scan there is no original Word file to mark up, so the export instead renders deletions struck through and insertions in green. It is the same content, but it is styled text rather than Word revisions.
Firm Preferences captures your house-style fragment and injects it into contract analysis. It is not switched on in any of our published plans today — talk to us before you count on it.
It is a separate surface: the Negotiation assistant drafts counter-offers and negotiation emails against a specific position, rather than rewriting a clause in place.
