Email, SMS & WhatsApp settings
BetaUse your organisation's own email sender or SMTP relay for the product's emails — and store Twilio SMS and WhatsApp Business settings, tested from the console.
- ✓Own email sender, reply-to or SMTP relay, with fallback to LexVio's sender
- ✓Twilio SMS settings, with a test send
- ✓WhatsApp Business through Meta, with template sync and a test send
- ✓Secrets encrypted and write-only
What it is.
An admin can configure the organisation's own email (sender name, reply-to, or your own SMTP relay), SMS through Twilio, and WhatsApp through Meta with templates submitted and synced from the console. Secrets are encrypted when saved and never shown again — only that one is set, and the last four characters of an API key.
Be clear about what saving does today. An enabled email configuration changes every email LexVio sends for your organisation, falling back to LexVio's sender if your relay fails. The SMS and WhatsApp configurations can be tested from the console, but no product feature sends through them yet. Because the credentials are yours, the vendor is your processor, not ours.
Three steps.
End to end.
Pick the channel and enter the provider details.
Send a test message from the console.
An enabled email configuration takes over your organisation's emails; SMS and WhatsApp wait for features that use them.

- ✓An SMTP host on a private or loopback address is refused on the hosted service
