Legal intake
LiveA front door for legal requests — captured, triaged by AI, routed to a person, and promoted into a matter.
- ✓AI triage on arrival — type, urgency, and whether it is legal work
- ✓Triage recommends, a human applies
- ✓Missing details asked one question at a time; each answer re-runs triage
- ✓Rejection recorded with a rationale rather than a deletion
What it is.
Requests come in from the business through a single intake rather than by email and corridor conversation. Each one is triaged on arrival: what kind of work it is, how urgent, whether it is legal work at all. The triage recommends; a person applies. A request triaged as not-legal is recorded as rejected with a visible rationale rather than silently dropped, so a human can reverse it.
Promotion is what makes this more than a ticket queue: a request becomes a matter, and the matter is where the documents, redlines and obligations for that piece of work then live. When a request is missing details, triage asks for them one question at a time, and each answer re-runs the triage.
Three steps.
End to end.
Typed in, or filed through an intake form — recorded with its channel and triaged on arrival.
Assign to a person. Answer the missing-detail questions and the triage re-runs.
Promote it into a matter, or close it with a reason. Either way there is a record.

Quick answers.
No. It records a recommendation and a rationale; a person applies it, and can reverse it.
Yes, through an intake form published on a public link. Every submission becomes an intake request marked external. See Intake forms.
More in Clients & Matters.
Internal threads for the team, client threads the client reads in the portal, and one history across the channels the product records.
A client is a record with contacts, not a name typed on a matter — and duplicates merge without losing anything.
Share a matter, a workflow, a document or a draft with the client; they sign in with a one-time link, upload evidence, answer questions and approve drafts.
Build an intake form, publish it on a public link, and every submission becomes a triaged intake request.
